Manage Cloud Infrastructure and Drive Solutions.

About the Role
  • Oversee day-to-day activities ensuring reliable and secure systems, services and infrastructure work.
  • Manage a team of professionals operating Cloud based virtual desktop environments for end users.
Main Responsibilities
  • Manage transition to AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) for teams around the world, building out new environments as required.
  • Own technology footprint and documentation, evolving it to meet business requirements.
  • Manage operational changes of public cloud resources.
  • Monitor performance of business-critical systems to prevent delays and outages.
  • Lead Operations Team including scheduling, mentoring, supporting career growth, performing reviews and evaluations, and resolving conflicts.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience managing IT operational teams in global enterprise companies delivering outstanding IT services from all environments.
  • Experience providing internal customer service meeting quality standards, SLAs and effective communications strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field, or 10+ years related experience.
  • Experience supporting or managing IT professionals in an operational environment.
  • Experience in Azure technologies, virtualization, networking, identity, storage, backups, resilience, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills communicating with team members, management personnel and end-users throughout the organization.
  • Track record of mentoring and coaching individuals at all levels of professional development.
