Precision Engineering Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. As a mid-level CAD engineer, you will focus on precision part design and documentation for CNC-machined and cast components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing simulations and tests to validate designs, creating technical drawings and documentation,
- Applying GD&T per ISO, ASME Y14.5 standards to define form, fit, and function of parts
- Collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to iterate on designs
- Supporting design reviews and providing technical input on manufacturability
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2–7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production, with a primary focus on CNC machining and casting
- Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software i.e. NX, CATIA
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles
- ISO or ASME Y14.5 certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory
