Accounting Professional Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and timely posting of transactions. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate accounts payable and receivable records, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, and performing reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of US accounting standards, QuickBooks, and international accounting practices. Experience in working with US clients in a BPO/KPO/outsourcing setup is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end accounting processes for multiple US clients.
  • Record and post journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and ensure timely transaction postings.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements as per US GAAP.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances.
  • Support preparation of management reports and financial dashboards for clients.
  • Assist with US tax filings, sales tax returns, and payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and client-specific requirements.
  • Liaise with external tax consultants and auditors when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 2–4 years experience in US Accounting / Outsourcing / KPO industry.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US tax compliance, and payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with US clients.
