Software Asset Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced Software Asset Management professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of software assets, including procurement, license management, compliance, renewals, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process software requests via digital platforms and validate license availability through vendor portals.
  • Initiate license harvesting or procurement when required, and maintain accurate records of license assignments, usage, and compliance.
  • Track contract expirations using dashboards and coordinate with legal and procurement teams for contract reviews and renewals.
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and orders in SAP, ensuring all approvals are documented.
  • Use shared mailboxes for vendor interactions, and ensure all communications are tagged to relevant tickets.
  • Coordinate with vendors for quotes, license keys, and order confirmations, and track deployment status and update tickets accordingly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in Software Asset Management or IT Procurement.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, Asana, Remedy (BMC Helix), and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models and compliance.
  • Experience with vendor portals and contract management systems.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
