We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Kernel System Developer to join our team.

As a key member of our High Performance Computing, AI and Labs team, you will play a critical role in developing innovative solutions that accelerate our customers' digital transformation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux kernel development, with experience in programming languages such as C and expertise in source code control systems, branching, merging, and release management.

">

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess strong scripting knowledge in Shell, Perl, and Python, as well as the ability to create Linux Debian packages and pull patches from upstream kernel versions to lower versions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop new functionality in kernel modules">
  • Debug kernel issues using various Linux commands like gdb, strace, tcpdump, and network-related commands">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-performance computing solutions">
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Linux kernel development and apply knowledge to improve existing systems and develop new ones">

**Requirements:**

  • BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; MS degree preferred">
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in Linux kernel development">
  • Strong understanding of Linux OS internals and kernel module development">
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently">
  • Experience with SCM tools such as Subversion, GIT, and GITHUB">
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, and Python">
  • Familiarity with storage concepts and drivers like mpt3sas and smartpqi">
  • Understanding of Networking - TCP/IP">
