Job Title: Workday Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume responsibility for the configuration, maintenance, and advisement of security within the Workday application.

This entails domain security policies, roles, and role assignments. The specialist will collaborate with vendors to comprehend new technology scope and its association with new functionality and security.

The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of Workday security features and controls, knowledge of SOX and data privacy regulations, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain security settings within the Workday application.
  • Provide expert advice on security policies, roles, and role assignments.
  • Collaborate with vendors to grasp new technology scope and its correlation with new functionality and security.
  • Maintain awareness of divisional and data security and adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in report reviews, ensuring adherence to security and data privacy standards.
  • Stay updated on new security features within the application's roadmap and implement them as feasible.
  • Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy.
  • Demonstrate proof of security controls during internal and external audits.

The successful candidate must be capable of enforcing adherence to security policies and practices, possessing strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
