Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of software systems. As a key member of the technical team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS.

  • To achieve this goal, we are looking for an experienced professional with strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, and JavaScript.
  • You should have experience with container management technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Yarn, ECS, EKS, and monitoring infrastructure and visualization software like Prometheus, Grafana etc.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and knowledge of DevOps practices is also essential.

This position requires a proactive approach to identifying problems and performance bottlenecks, excellent communication and leadership skills, and coaching and mentoring abilities to connect with product teams and influence them to adhere to Cloud best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Maintain and improve system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline processes.
  • Participate in a shared on-call rotation to respond to production incidents and resolve them with minimal downtime.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related discipline.
  • 8-12 years of software industry experience with at least 4 years of experience in SRE role.
  • AWS certification on 1 or more of the following: SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect.
