Job Title: BIM Electrical Specialist

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled BIM Electrical Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed electrical models for building services using Revit software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop 3D models of electrical systems, including lighting power, earthing and lightning protection systems, schematics, schedules, etc.
  • Prepare 2D drawings from the 3D models and perform basic electrical design calculations.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through thorough QA/QC procedures.
  • Maintain effective communication with other teams, including Mechanical, Structural, and Architectural services.
  • Meet project deadlines and deliverables on time.
Requirements:
  • Hold an ITI/Diploma or Degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering.
  • Have working experience in Electrical modeling for building services using Revit as a software.
  • Demonstrate expertise in substation projects/Oil Gas projects.
  • Possess familiarity with MicroStation and British GCC standards.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently without reliance on mark-ups.
  • Familiarity with platforms like BIM360 or ProjectWise is preferred.
