Key Responsibilities:
  • To prepare and present detailed cost estimates and projections for various projects, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in the analysis.
  • To assist in budgeting and cost control processes, closely monitoring costs and providing valuable insights to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • To track project expenses, comparing them with initial estimates and identifying any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
  • To participate in tendering and bidding processes, preparing and evaluating bids, and ensuring that all materials and labor are accounted for in the project's cost.
  • To maintain records of estimates, costs, and changes in project scope, as well as prepare regular reports on project progress and costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field; professional certifications such as MRICS, FCIOB, or similar would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in cost management, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
