Steering projects at the helm To be stationed in region country youxe2x80x99ll work side-by-side with the senior project manager to ensure the success of a projectxe2x80x94from its pre-design phase to budget to achieve optimal results and meet the companyxe2x80x99s target profits Also part of your job is to attend project meetings as required develop monthly reports and carry out contract administration Furthermore youxe2x80x99ll oversee negotiations analyses and promotions of quality control systems Your task is to fully understand collect and deliver clientsxe2x80x99 requirements The CC team will depend on you to help schedule or plan establishment value engineer and design change management Youxe2x80x99ll also assist the contract manager in all related procurement and VO management On top of that youxe2x80x99ll support the construction manager in all related installation site inspection and contractor management Prepare BOQxe2x80x99s Quantity Survey Quantity Take Off Cost Analysis for each of the line items in the BOQ as required for project to project Benchmarking Review Standardize of Specifications Sound Technical Knowledge on Civil MEP aspects as applicable Procurement from Cost Management perspective Finalise Commercials with vendors Rate Contracts as applicable Boosting client relationships Helping clients achieve success is what JLL does and forecasts and to assist in the preparation and review of cost estimates and schedules for projects of medium complexity and value xefx82xb7 Provide cost information to support decision and alternative selection xefx82xb7 Evaluate contractor invoices prior to submission into client Finance systems for pre-approval xefx82xb7 Utilize information from SAP or similar and input to cost report and validation of spending xefx82xb7 Evaluate and analyze bids and provide recommendation for decision making xefx82xb7 Provide forecasts and cash flow analysis xefx82xb7 Maintain and manage the cost report and provide regular updates on financial position xefx82xb7 Assist in the development validation and maintenance of the project schedule xefx82xb7 Assist in developing reporting tracking tools and generates cost reports on regular basis including evaluation of earned value xefx82xb7 Support the coordination of the Change Management process for the project xefx82xb7 Build intricate spreadsheets to enable fast and accurate data manipulation of large data sets xefx82xb7 Extract data from several sources transforming it to fit operational needs xefx82xb7 Reconcile data to support complete accuracy and creates a clean audit trail Key Deliverables xefx82xb7 Developing cost plans and estimates through the design phase delivering updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones xefx82xb7 Preparation of Bills of Quantities description as per drawings Spececifications xefx82xb7 Providing commercial input to design optioneering and input into value engineering exercises xefx82xb7 Reviewing contractor and subcontractor pricing and leading negotiations on behalf of the client to drive fair contract prices xefx82xb7 Performing quantity surveying cost controls and change management activities throughout the project life cycle xefx82xb7 Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively xefx82xb7 Ensuring that cost auditing and valuation work is managed effectively and that a robust process for cost validation is in place xefx82xb7 Carrying out the production of monthly cost reports for presentation to the client xefx82xb7 Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed in a timely manner xefx82xb7 Compiling as built cost estimate records for bench marking purposes A seasoned expert The ideal candidate
