Principal Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

A cloud engineer plays a pivotal role in laying the foundation for our projects, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive growth and innovation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and functionality of our AI platform, implementing industry best practices for security and governance, maintaining proficiency in cloud platforms with an understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), developing infrastructure automation using Terraform, and applying advanced knowledge of network and security principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the AI Platform (Vertex AI) is available and functioning as expected.
- Implement industry best practices for security and governance.
- Maintain proficiency in Cloud Platforms with an understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform.
- Apply advanced knowledge of network and security principles.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering.
- Understanding of AI platforms in a cloud environment (Vertex AI, CoPilot, Sagemaker, Bedrock).
- Intermediate proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Advanced understanding of network and security principles.
- Linux operating systems (RHEL).
- DevSecOps practices with a focus on shift-left thinking and zero-touch automation.
- Common architecture patterns and AI/ML workflows.
- SAFe: Experience with Scaled Agile Framework.
- BDD: Strong experience with Behavior Driven Development creation for testing.
- Programming: Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python.
