A senior cloud infrastructure professional is sought after to deploy and configure Azure services, including API Management instances, Application Gateways, Virtual Machines, and Azure Functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy and configure Azure API Management (APIM) instances, Application Gateways, Virtual Machines (VMs), and Azure Functions.
  • Configure secure connectivity through Azure AD, VNet integrations, Private Endpoints, and Managed Identities.
  • Manage certificates, custom domains, and API endpoint configurations for secure, scalable, and high availability infrastructure.

The successful candidate will ensure that the infrastructure adheres to Azure best practices for security, scalability, and high availability.

API Management
  • Create and manage APIs, products, policies, users, and subscriptions.
  • Implement robust API security features, including OAuth2, CORS, RBAC, and API Keys.
  • Develop and maintain API versions, revisions, and environment promotions.

The role requires expertise in implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

Ci/cd Pipeline Implementation
  • Design and implement API deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
  • Automate API imports, policy updates, and infrastructure changes for efficient and streamlined processes.

The ideal candidate will provide Level 2-3 support, monitor platform health using Azure Monitor and Application Insights, and troubleshoot complex API/policy issues.

Monitoring & Support (Level 2-3)
  • Monitor platform health and performance metrics using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
  • Provide expert-level support: triage incidents, troubleshoot API/policy issues, and escalate as needed.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and resolve complex technical issues.

The role involves designing and enforcing API governance policies, conducting regular access reviews, log audits, and compliance checks to ensure secure operations.

Security & Governance
  • Develop and enforce comprehensive API governance policies.
  • Conduct regular access reviews, log audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Manage platform access through Azure AD roles, RBAC, and Managed Identities for secure access management.

The ideal candidate will integrate third-party solutions like SnapLogic with APIM for enterprise workflows, design and maintain integration packages and connectors, and develop secure, scalable, and efficient integration solutions.

Integration Services
  • Integrate SnapLogic with APIM for seamless enterprise workflows.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot integration packages and connectors for optimal performance.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and efficient integration solutions across internal and external systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on API lifecycle and governance initiatives.
