Scientific Research and Education Manager

Elevate the quality of animated educational video collections by ensuring accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical value. As a detail-oriented professional, you will oversee the review process, collaborate with content development and production teams, and manage freelance subject matter expert reviewers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review educational concept videos for accuracy and instructional coherence.
  • Comment on visual representations, such as animated characters and graphs.
  • Maintain high standards for scientific/academic quality, accessibility, and instructional coherence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional creative teams to resolve feedback and maintain quality.
  • Track progress across multiple active video collections in digital tools.
  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of freelance SME reviewers.

Requirements:

  • A Master's or Ph.D in STEM, business, or education.
  • 3–6 years of experience in academic content QC or educational video production.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot content errors and production glitches.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to give constructive feedback.
  • Strong working knowledge of productivity software.
  • Familiarity with 2D animation formats and ability to give feedback on visual storytelling and pacing.
  • Experience working with fast-paced environments and managing timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
