We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team at the Indian School of Business. As a Research Associate, you will work closely with Professor Deepa Mani on various research projects, focusing on policy design for the digital economy, literature review, econometric analyses, and experiment design.
Responsibilities:- Assist with ongoing research projects, including large-scale impact assessment studies and exploration of research questions in management and public policy.
- Conduct literature reviews, econometric analyses, and experiment design.
- Collaborate with other research associates, data scientists, and policy analysts as part of a dynamic team.
To be considered for this role, you should have a master's degree in public policy, economics, political science, or a related field. You should also have training and experience in quantitative analysis, facility with using software for data manipulation and analysis, and an emphasis on ability to use R, STATA, and/or Python.
Requirements:- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong evidence of analytical writing, including ability to produce short documents describing results of analysis or synthesis of research literature.
- Ability to travel at short notice, interact with stakeholders, and manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
As a Research Associate at the Indian School of Business, you will have the opportunity to work on current and relevant business/public policy research projects. You will also be part of a vibrant community consisting of multiple research associates, policy analysts, and other members of Research Centres and Institutes spanning diverse domains.
The Indian School of Business is a research-intensive environment, and you will interact with a range of resident and visiting faculty members. You will also have the opportunity to attend regular seminars by faculty members where research papers are presented and discussed.
In addition to the intellectual stimulation and professional growth, we offer a competitive salary of ₹8-10 Lakhs CTC per annum, based on qualifications, experience, and parity with other researchers in the team.
