Job Description">

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Azure Lead MS-SQL DBA. This position involves providing expert-level guidance and support for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft SQL Server databases within the Azure cloud environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of data for various applications. Key responsibilities include:

  2. Provisioning, configuring, and managing Azure SQL Databases, Managed Instances, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines.">
  3. Designing and implementing HA/DR strategies such as Always On Availability Groups, geo-replication, and failover groups to ensure business continuity and data resilience.">
  4. Monitoring database performance using Azure Monitor, SQL Insights, and Query Store.">
  5. Identifying and resolving bottlenecks by optimizing queries, indexes, and resource allocation.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience working with Azure MS-SQL databases.">
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL (T-SQL).">
