Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL and NoSQL database expert to join our team. As a key member of our database development group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex databases using PostgreSQL and other NoSQL technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient database architectures using PostgreSQL and NoSQL technologies.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to improve database performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data integration solutions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot database issues to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in database technology and apply this knowledge to improve our database systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Expert-level skills in SQL, PL/pgSQL, and database design principles.
  • Experience with PostGIS and geospatial concepts.
  • Familiarity with time series databases and message queuing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based database services.
  • Fluency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
