Senior Infrastructure Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in provisioning, monitoring, and automating infrastructure on AWS.

About the Role

  • This is a key leadership position responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale cloud-based systems.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through technology innovation.
  • A strong focus on reliability, scalability, and security will be essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure using Terraform and other tools.
  • Write high-quality code using Python and Boto3 to automate operational tasks and implement data pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using ELK, TrendMicro, and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve production issues and develop post-incident reports.
  • Contribute to system hardening and security compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to set internal controls.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Solid hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS, ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, Redis, etc.
  • Proficient in writing Terraform infrastructure scripts and Python coding using Boto3.
  • Deep understanding of monitoring/logging tools (ELK, CloudWatch, TrendMicro).
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (CodeBuild, CodePipeline).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security and incident response practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • AWS certifications preferred but not required.
