As a leader in innovation, you will oversee the creation of cutting-edge solutions that address real-world cybersecurity challenges. This role focuses on driving strategic innovation and accelerating the development and testing of emerging technologies to future-proof the organization's digital and cyber capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various cybersecurity domains, including futuristic technologies, emerging trends, and disruptive methodologies. They should have proven experience in leading or supporting innovation initiatives, including ideation, prototyping, and product development.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing a comprehensive innovation strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Enabling the design of state-of-the-art facilities for research and innovation
  • Establishing frameworks for research and innovation activities, including infrastructure enablement, operational models, outcome measurement, etc.
  • Driving strategic and operational relationships for the implementation and operations of research initiatives
  • Ensuring efficient lab operations, with effective resource allocation and project management practices
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress of research initiatives and innovation projects
  • Managing resources to achieve maximum impact
  • Translating research findings into practical cybersecurity solutions and strategies
  • Evaluating and integrating emerging technologies and methodologies into existing frameworks
  • Promoting the development of prototypes/toolkits and proof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase new technologies
  • Researching and assessing emerging cybersecurity technologies, such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, and quantum computing, to identify potential applications and opportunities
  • Fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the organization, facilitating the dissemination of best practices, research findings, and lessons learned
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including industry experts, research institutions, and technology vendors, to stay abreast of the latest trends and foster collaboration
  • Identifying and nurturing talent within the organization, providing opportunities for professional development and growth in areas related to innovation and cybersecurity
  • Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of innovation initiatives and the overall impact of the organization
  • Continuously improving the organization's security posture through the adoption of innovative solutions and best practices

The ideal candidate will have a basic qualification of BE/BTech degree in any discipline from a recognized university/Institution/Board recognized by Govt. of India/approved by Govt. Regulatory bodies. An advanced degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology is preferred. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, PMP, MBA (Technology Management) are also desirable.
