FPL Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Taxation Professional to oversee all aspects of taxation, compliance, and financial operations related to direct and indirect taxes.

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled professional to manage tax-related processes and regulatory requirements, ensuring our organization's financial practices comply with statutory norms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Tax Compliance Management:
  • Oversee monthly tax compliances, including TDS and GST filings, ensuring timely submissions in adherence to regulations.
GST and TDS Returns:
  • Preparation and filing of GST returns and TDS returns accurately within prescribed timelines.
Reconciliation and ITC Management:
  • Perform reconciliation and availment of Input Tax Credit (ITC) as per applicable rules and regulations.
Tax Entries and GL Reconciliation:
  • Closely review and prepare accurate month-end tax entries, perform General Ledger (GL) reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Foreign Payments Compliance:
  • Handle foreign payments and ensure adherence to related tax and regulatory compliance requirements.
Tax Audit and Annual Returns:
  • Prepare detailed workings for tax audits and GST annual returns, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
GST Notices and Reply:
  • Manage GST-related notices, prepare responses, and coordinate with relevant authorities for timely resolutions.
Operational Support:
  • Assist in other operational tasks as required, supporting the smooth functioning of the finance and taxation department.
Requirements and Qualifications

We require a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:

  1. Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or relevant postgraduate qualification in Finance/Taxation.
Experience:
  • 2-6 years of experience in taxation, financial operations, or a similar role.
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of TDS, GST regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, tax software, and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The estimated salary for this position is ₹ 12.50 lakhs - ₹ 20 lakhs per annum, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
