Casting is a critical process in the production of electrical equipment, and we are seeking an experienced professional to lead our aluminum casting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end aluminum casting process for Medium Voltage GIS systems from design and material selection to production and final inspection at supplier base.">
• Collaborate with engineering and research teams to develop casting designs that meet GIS technical requirements while ensuring safety, durability, and performance standards.">
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in mold design, material usage, casting techniques, and manufacturing efficiency to enhance casting productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.">
• Implement stringent quality control measures throughout the casting process and conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and mechanical properties.">
• Analyze and resolve casting defects or failures during production using advanced problem-solving techniques and implement corrective actions.">
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between casting processes and overall production workflow.">
• Stay current with industry trends, new casting technologies, and innovations in materials science to integrate new techniques and materials improving product quality, performance, and cost efficiency.">
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians in casting processes and quality standards, leading training sessions to equip team members with necessary skills and knowledge.">
• Document casting specifications, process parameters, inspection results, and corrective actions taken while preparing technical reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We require:

Minimum years of experience in aluminum casting or foundry industry, preferably in electrical or power sector.

Strong knowledge of aluminum alloys, casting methods (sand casting, die casting, investment casting), mold design, and quality control processes.

Familiarity with casting processes for electrical equipment is highly desirable.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related field. Master's or doctoral degree is advantageous.

Hands-on experience in developing new casting processes, with strong understanding of product lifecycle management and quality assurance practices and relevant standards.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to address complex casting issues.

Able to lead and mentor teams, manage projects, and work effectively in cross-functional environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Certified auditor with knowledge in global standards used in Casting/Foundry industry is preferred.
