Role Overview:

This is an entry-level position that involves collaborating with a Director on a documentary film project focused on India's advancements in space science and technology.

About the Project:

The documentary showcases the nation's progress in space exploration, requiring strong narrative craft and creative execution. As an intern, you will be working closely with the Director to ensure the project meets its objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director in daily tasks during pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
  • Contribute to script development, research, and creative coordination throughout the production cycle.
  • Research and gather information on space initiatives, history, and related topics.
  • Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, maintaining accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
  • Provide input on visuals, graphics, and storyboarding to enhance the storytelling approach.
  • Evaluate alignment between the script and visual storytelling methods.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Film school student or recent graduate with a passion for scientific films.
  • Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred.
  • Able to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
