Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Space Scientist based in Mumbai. The Space Scientist will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and developing innovative solutions in the field of space science. Daily tasks include designing experiments, publishing research papers, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and presenting findings at conferences. The Space Scientist will also mentor junior researchers and contribute to grant writing and project proposals.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of astrophysics, astronomy, and space science research
  • Experience with data analysis, modeling, simulation, and programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
  • Proven track record of publishing research papers and presenting at conferences
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to mentor junior researchers and manage research projects
  • Ph.D. in Space Science, Astrophysics, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with grant writing and project proposal development is a plus
