Biological Data Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Biological Data Analyst to join our team. This role involves analyzing biological drug-based patents and references, articles, meeting abstracts, and clinical trials to identify novelty.

  • Analyze biological drug-based patents and references, articles, meeting abstracts, and clinical trials to identify novelty.
  • Summarize claims, novelty, and experiments described in patents without grammatical or conceptual errors.
  • Conduct comprehensive searches for biological drug-related patents and references online.
  • Meet weekly production volume and quality targets consistently and achieve KPI metrics.
  • Participate in process improvement and collaborate with ROW and Cross-BU groups as needed.
  • Be flexible and adaptable towards process change and complete tasks demanded by your line manager or director.

The selected candidate will be working on Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence platform which focuses exclusively on pharma and drug development. The Biologicals team analyzes journals, patents, and meeting abstracts, providing content to CDDI.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Biology or Biotech degree
  • 0-1 year experience in biological products
  • Knowledge in content analysis, editing, and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, effective time management skills, and highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Adhere to SOP and policies, ability to interact and build relationships with co-workers

This is a full-time position located in Chennai. Working hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST, Monday through Friday. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy throughout the day.
