Database Architect

We are seeking a skilled database architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our data pipelines and storage solutions.

This role involves managing relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL platforms (Cassandra, ScyllaDB, MongoDB, BigQuery).

  • Data Design: Create scalable, distributed, and highly available database systems for real-time and batch workloads.
  • Deployment: Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate database deployments, migrations, and monitoring.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product engineers to ensure efficient access to data.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize query performance, schema design, and indexing strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Databases: Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and MySQL database design and optimization. Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases: ScyllaDB, Cassandra, MongoDB, BigQuery.
  • Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud providers: AWS (RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift), GCP (BigQuery, Cloud SQL), Azure (Cosmos DB, SQL Database).
  • Automation: Good scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar for automation.
