Job Overview

As a key member of our engineering team, you'll design and develop scalable data platforms, collaborating closely with colleagues using Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust data warehouses and platforms
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality projects
  • Optimize databases and SQL queries for peak performance
  • Provide operational support for post-production deployment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar projects/platforms
  • Proficiency in Python programming language
  • Working experience with data pipelines & methodologies, SQL, and various databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark
  • Experience with source code management systems like Git
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering or equivalent technical background and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud providers like AWS, containerization, and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes
  • Working experience with data warehouses & ETL tools
  • DevOps experience with tools such as Jenkins, Ansible
  • Agile Scrum experience
