Wind Project Manager Position Overview

Job Summary:

This is a high-level management position overseeing large-scale wind energy projects. As Senior Project Manager – PMO (Wind), you will be responsible for leading and coordinating end-to-end project management activities, including project planning, cross-functional coordination, and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project charters, schedules, and progress reports; track milestones and actuals against plan.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and cash flow projections.
  • Support project teams in managing OEMs, procurement processes, and alignment with engineering, legal, finance, and logistics teams.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely execution and compliance.
  • Manage risk mitigation plans, insurance coverage, and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Drive weekly/monthly review meetings and prepare MIS reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in project management, particularly in EPC projects within the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
