Job Title: Cloud Engineer - OpenShift Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer to lead our OpenShift team. As an expert in container orchestration and cloud computing, you will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of our OpenShift platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage deep-dive troubleshooting skills to resolve critical or complex OpenShift and Kubernetes issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive action plans to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Oversee cluster capacity, performance, and scaling to optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop automation scripts and tooling for platform management using Ansible, Helm, and Operators.
  • Mentor junior engineers and build operational knowledge base through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Linux administration and OpenShift (v4 preferred).
  • Expert-level understanding of Kubernetes internals, API objects, and Operators.
  • Strong knowledge of container networking, ingress, and service mesh technologies.
  • Experience with automation and GitOps tooling (Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD, Flux).
