Factory Operations Manager

This role is responsible for leading and managing plant operations to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

About the Role

This position involves monitoring budgets, costs, and productivity across all departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.

Maintaining machinery, resolving production issues, and ensuring smooth operations are also key responsibilities of this role. Additionally, preparing and submitting production reports to management is an essential task.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage plant operations to meet production targets and quality standards
  • Monitor budgets, costs, and productivity across all departments
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff
  • Maintain machinery and resolve production issues
  • Prepare and submit production reports to management
Requirements:
  • B.E. / B.Tech (Food Technology) or equivalent qualification
  • 10 years of experience in food industry preferably
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Foster employee engagement and maintain cordial relations with employees and stakeholders alike. Liaise with statutory bodies and manage inspections to ensure smooth operations.
