We are seeking a talented AI/ML Intern to join our team in Bangalore. As an AI/ML Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing in drug discovery research.

About the Role:

You will collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to develop, test, and train machine learning models for real-world applications. Your responsibilities will include assisting in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and dataset management for CV or NLP projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to develop, test, and train machine learning models for real-world applications.
  • Assist in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and dataset management for CV or NLP projects.
  • Implement and fine-tune machine learning algorithms, ensuring best practices and robust methodologies.
  • Perform model evaluation and optimization to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Document project progress and present findings, insights, and updates to the team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field. You should also have strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with essential libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with essential libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
  • Completed at least one machine learning project, preferably in Computer Vision or Natural Language Processing.
  • Solid theoretical understanding of fundamental ML concepts, including supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation metrics, and data handling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
