Job Opportunity:

SAP System Expertise

This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of SAP systems infrastructure, encompassing database, hardware, and peripherals interfacing.

  • System Management: Ensure optimal system performance and availability by performing tasks such as system installations and version upgrades, Corrections and Transport Systems (CTS) management, and Change Management process support.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor SAP performance and recommend tuning changes to enhance system efficiency.
  • Technical Solutions: Lead global SAP implementation projects, conduct technical design, and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Monitoring and Support: Perform SAP system monitoring and support activities, including setup and administration of print services and queues.
  • Capacity Planning: Coordinate SAP system performance and capacity planning with the Data Center and technical staff.
  • Upgrade and Maintenance Initiatives: Oversee upgrade and maintenance projects to improve information on hardware, data transfer, replication, restoration, and other necessary activities.
  • Process Enhancement: Collaborate with business application staff to improve process performance and reliability of production systems.
  • Comprehensive Testing: Conduct thorough performance, reliability, and capacity testing on new applications prior to live implementation.
  • Disaster Recovery: Maintain disaster recovery documentation, participate in Disaster Recovery Testing, and oversee daily tasks.
  • Change Request Assistance: Support and investigate change requests to system functionality.

Requirements:

  • SAP Basis Experience: 6-8+ years of SAP Basis experience in a technical position.
  • SAP Knowledge: Hands-on experience with SAP, BW, Solution Manager, and SAP Cloud systems like IBP, Integration Suite, and others.
  • Operating Systems: Operating Systems experience, including IBM System i, Windows, NT, UNIX.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent writing and oral communication skills, excellent problem resolution skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
