Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process, from preparation to submission. This includes creating categories on the e-procurement platform, uploading products, and responding to requests for proposals/quotations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Preparation & Submission:
    • Prepare and submit bids, guarantees, financial documents, and drafts as per tender requirements.
    • Clarify bid conditions and ensure alignment with company requirements.
    • Analyze tender documents, prepare comparative statements, and attend pre-bid meetings.
  • Vendor Registration & Coordination:
    • Liaise with government departments for vendor registrations, approvals, and renewals.
    • Follow up with vendors for timely deliveries and quotations.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Prepare drawings using software such as Coral Draw/Photoshop.
    • Manage filing, calls, and administrative tasks (salary/attendance registers).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, and communication in English and Hindi.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • Proven experience with procurement and tendering.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
    • Experience liaising with government bodies is a plus.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and organizational abilities. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
