Job Description:

The Data Migration Specialist plays a pivotal role in the execution of data migration activities, serving as a liaison between local business and functional teams, and global stakeholders. This individual ensures that local requirements are accurately captured in conversion workbooks and effectively delivered during deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the focal point for assigned data objects in scope for deployment or local data migration projects.
  • Collaborate with Business Data Owners, Functional Experts, ETL teams, legacy system teams, and deployment teams.
  • Drive migration activities for deployment projects.
  • Verify data transformation tools and outputs for deployment wave projects.
  • Manage DMW load file preparation and perform initial verification.
  • Execute DVT scripts and support defect/hypercare incident resolution for assigned data objects.
  • Coordinate defect resolution or escalate to GDMEs as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of ERP project implementation experience with strong data migration expertise.
  • Proven experience in data migration execution across multi-country, multi-system environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS.
  • Strong understanding of GxP and CSV requirements.
  • SAP Certified in at least one relevant functional area.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrix-based organization.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to healthcare or regulated industry environments.
