Job Overview

Prachas Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our analytics department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, create data models, and generate insightful reports and dashboards that drive decision-making and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Data Modeling & Analysis: Create and maintain complex data models in Power BI, build efficient ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources, and develop DAX formulas and calculations to enable advanced data analysis.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions, present insights and recommendations derived from data to both technical and non-technical audiences, and collaborate with database administrators and other teams to integrate data from various sources.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for better performance and usability, conduct performance tuning of Power BI datasets, data models, and queries, and ensure the reliability, availability, and accuracy of Power BI reports and data.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: 3+ years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power BI, strong proficiency with Power Query, DAX, and building complex data models, experience working with SQL databases, SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services), and other data storage systems, and proficiency in ETL tools and processes for data integration from multiple sources.
  • Tools & Technologies: Experience with data integration tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar, familiarity with Power BI Service, including Power BI Workspaces, Apps, and Row-Level Security (RLS), and experience with Azure, Azure SQL Database, and/or Azure Synapse is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets, strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies, and certifications (preferred but not required) like Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights in a clear and concise manner, ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is ₹8 LPA.
