The Senior MicroStrategy Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining MicroStrategy solutions to support business decision-making processes.
This role requires a deep understanding of MicroStrategy platform capabilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design & Development : Design, develop, and implement MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and analytical applications based on business requirements.
- Architecture : Develop and maintain the architecture of the MicroStrategy environment, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Data Integration : Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate data from various sources into the MicroStrategy environment.
- Optimization : Optimize report performance and enhance the efficiency of the MicroStrategy environment.
- Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve issues related to MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and applications.
- Documentation : Create and maintain documentation for MicroStrategy solutions, including design specifications and user guides.
- Collaboration : Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
- Best Practices : Advocate for and implement best practices in BI development and data governance.
- Mentoring : Provide guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a MicroStrategy Developer with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex BI solutions.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in MicroStrategy Desktop, Web, and Mobile; experience with MicroStrategy Architect and Intelligence Server.
- Database Knowledge : Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases (e. , Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
- Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management : Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering solutions on time and within scope.
- Education : Bachelor's/master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or certifications in BI tools are a plus.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with other BI tools and technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
