About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned technology professional to join our Cloud DevOps team as a Cloud Triage Engineer III.

This role is part of our Cloud Infrastructure and Operations team, reporting to the Director of Cloud DevOps. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for supporting, migrating, automating, and optimizing software development and deployment processes, specifically for Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Deployment: Participate in the management, design, and solutioning of platform deployment and operational processes.
  • Vendor Management: Provide direction and guidance to vendors partnering on DevOps tools standardization and engineering support.
  • Pipeline Configuration: Configure and deploy reusable pipeline templates for automated deployment of cloud infrastructure and code.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

In addition, you will research, analyze, design, develop, and support high-quality automation workflows inside and outside the cloud platform that align with business and technology strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or relevant experience.
  • 7 years of Information Technology experience for a large technology company, preferably in a platform team.
  • 6 years hands-on Cloud DevOps pipeline for automating, building, and deploying microservice applications, APIs, and non-container artifacts.
  • 5 years working with Cloud technologies with good knowledge of IaaS and PaaS offerings in AWS, GCP.
