Senior Associate Job Description

The role of a Senior Associate is to play a key part in the financial stability and growth of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations: Perform day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable processing, invoice verification, and expense management.
  • Close Processes: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity within the team.
  • Mentorship: Provide support and guidance to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a BPM/SSC or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, or SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
