Public Relations Role

We are seeking a skilled Public Affairs Specialist to advance our organizational goals through effective communication.

This role will involve designing, executing, and evaluating public information campaigns, as well as serving as the primary contact for media inquiries and preparing press releases.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content for internal and external stakeholders, including newsletters, brochures, presentations, and social media materials.
  • Analyze public opinion and regulatory trends to inform policy decisions and develop strategic communications plans.
  • Represent the organization at civic and community meetings, advocating for our interests and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement outreach activities, educational initiatives, and emergency preparedness communications to engage with diverse audiences.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information to various audiences.
  • Strategic thinking and advocacy skills to drive organizational interests in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and present information in ways that foster understanding and build support for our policies.
  • MBA or related educational experience/certifications required.
