API Tester Specialist

Our company is seeking an experienced API tester with a strong background in software analysis or development and experience with testing methodologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for APIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into every phase of the software development lifecycle
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks in the development process and propose mitigation strategies
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of testing
  • Develop and maintain test data, scripts, and automation frameworks using tools like POSTMAN, Playwright, and Type Script/JavaScript
  • Evaluate the performance, accessibility, and visual testing of APIs

Requirements:

  • ISTQB Software Testing Foundation or Intermediate Certification
  • 1-5 years of experience in software testing, preferably with a focus on API testing
  • Hands-on experience with POSTMAN tool, REST API, and low-code no-code tools
  • Good understanding of Cloud technology, Microsoft CRM, Windows and UNIX servers, Web and App platforms
  • Understanding of Non-Functional testing, Project development lifecycle (s), and Quality Engineering activities
