Job Summary

CJC SmartHire is seeking an experienced IT Security Project Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Project Execution and Monitoring:

  • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring that team members have resources they need to succeed.
  • Track project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.
  • Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with all project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, team members, and senior management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing any concerns, questions, or feedback.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals and expectations, ensuring their needs and requirements are met.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations through regular updates, presentations, and meetings.

Risk Management and Problem-Solving:

  • Identify potential project risks and create strategies to mitigate them.
  • Resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle, making timely decisions to keep the project on track.
  • Manage conflicts within the team and ensure smooth collaboration.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, project schedules, and status reports.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met and report any deviations.

Project Closure and Evaluation:

  • Coordinate the closure of projects, ensuring that all deliverables are completed and handed off to the client or stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and provide feedback on what went well and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is archived for future reference.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in IT security project management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Jira, etc.)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
