Healthcare Liaison Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Liaison Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional support and guidance on various healthcare-related matters.

Job Description:

Patient Communication: Respond to incoming calls from patients, offering courteous and professional assistance with inquiries related to their healthcare services.

Multi-channel Response: Respond to emails and other digital communications from patients, ensuring timely and effective assistance is provided.

Appointment Management: Schedule and manage appointments for patients with healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and optimal scheduling.

Service Coordination: Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless delivery of healthcare services to patients.

Guidance & Support: Offer comprehensive guidance and support to patients on diverse healthcare-related issues, including treatment options, insurance coverage, and medical procedures.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and databases, adhering to industry regulations and guidelines.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills for answering incoming calls and providing assistance.
  • Strong written communication skills for responding to emails and other digital communications.
  • Proficiency in scheduling appointments and coordinating with multiple parties.
  • Ability to provide guidance and support on healthcare-related inquiries.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining patient records and databases.
  • Understanding and adherence to patient privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working within a team.
  • Ability to meet performance metrics in a call center or virtual support environment.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
