Job Title: Project Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified project director to lead the successful execution of complex IT or banking domain projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with defined timelines, quality, and budget.
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the client and serve as the primary interface for all project matters.
  • Ensure implementation of testing processes as defined in the RFP document.
  • Regularly interface with the client SPOC to align on project scope, milestones, and potential risks.
  • Conduct periodic project review and status meetings with internal teams and the client to provide updates on progress, risks, and mitigations.
  • Manage and maintain all project-related documentation and communications through official client channels.
  • Review and administer the project change control procedures in coordination with client stakeholders.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve project issues or conflicts, proactively involving client SPOC for collaborative resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved risks/issues to senior management promptly, when required.
  • Deliver all required periodic reports, project plans, schedules, and status documents in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing IT/BFSI domain projects in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and frameworks (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with large-scale clients, preferably in the banking or financial services domain.
Certifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification OR PRINCE2 Certification (Practitioner level preferred) OR Any equivalent globally recognized Project Management certification.
Education Qualification:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. (IT)/B.Sc./BCA/B.Com./BBA from a recognized university approved by AICTE.
