As a skilled engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building next-generation observability platforms.

You will work with clients to understand their complex IT estates and identify areas for improvement in observability and AIOps.

Collaboration is key to your success. You will work with teams to architect unified observability strategies that employ leading AI technology.

Responsibilities include implementing enterprise observability/AIOps technology and processes, amplifying outcomes by accelerating adoption across technology and business organizations.

Architecting solutions to address gaps and reduce organizational MTTD and MTTR objectives is also part of your role.

Additionally, you will develop API-driven micro-services, plan and execute parallel distributed object storage transformations and migrations, maintain automated test suites using CI/CD tools.

Participating in troubleshooting, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis activities is also required.

Finally, advising management on service onboarding strategies and execution is crucial to the team's success.

Key qualifications include experience in architecting complex IT solutions, understanding of observability dimensions (Metrics, logs, traces), excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Development experience, comfortable working in multiple languages (Python, Java, Go, and Ruby a plus), and experience working in collaborative coding environments are also important.

7+ years of application development, experience working in distributed remote teams across multiple time zones, and experience in large-scale operations environments are highly valued.

3+ years of experience with networking systems and technologies, deep understanding of network performance and security, and ability to identify tasks which require automation and implement required automation are also critical.

Configuration Management tools experience with Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, hands-on operational experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment - distributed systems, capacity planning, continuous deployment, and BA/BS in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience (advanced degrees preferred).

Object Storage - Minio/S3/etc, Data Collection - OpenTelemetry/Grafana Alloy/etc, Message Bus - Kafka/NSQ/etc, Scaling Databases - Druid/Clickhouse/Cassandra/etc, Relational database technologies at large scale - Timescale/Vitess/Postgres/etc, Scheduling & Orchestration - Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker, Cloud Platforms - AWS/Azure are all exciting opportunities to learn and grow.
