Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Pathology Professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to undergraduate teaching within the discipline of Pathology and collaboratively with other disciplines in the School of Biomedical Sciences.
  • Prepare, execute, and evaluate lectures, tutorials, and practical classes, as well as facilitate small group learning sessions.
  • Drive educational excellence within the university's teaching and learning communities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A PhD in Biomedical Science, Pathology, or a related discipline, and/or a medical degree with relevant professional expertise.
  • Experience in histopathology.
  • Demonstrated experience in effective biomedical teaching, including development, delivery, and course convening, at an undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
  • Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.
  • Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
