Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Data Engineer to join our organization and play a key role in driving business growth through data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing scalable data pipelines, as well as experience with cloud-based data services and big data processing technologies. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.

A successful Data Engineer in this role will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing data pipelines that ingest, process, and deliver data from various sources
  • Developing and maintaining large-scale data warehouses and data lakes
  • Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Collaborating with data scientists to prepare datasets for machine learning models

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in SQL, PySpark, and Airflow
  • Strong understanding of data lake and data warehouse design best practices
  • Experience with cloud-based data services, including AWS EC2, S3 Storage, and EMR
  • Ability to manage and enhance infrastructure related to environments covering Spark, Hive, Presto
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
