Sponsorship Lead

The successful Sponsorship Lead will develop and execute a robust sponsorship strategy for live events, identifying potential sponsors, building relationships, and closing high-value deals. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in sponsorship sales/business development for live events, festivals, sports, entertainment, or media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sponsorship Development:
  • Develop and execute the sponsorship strategy for live events.
  • Identify potential sponsors, build a robust pipeline, and convert opportunities into signed partnerships.
  • Craft compelling sponsorship proposals and packages aligned with brand objectives and event positioning.
  • Lead negotiations, contract closures, and relationship management with sponsors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sponsorship deliverables are met.

Skillset:

  • A bachelor's degree in events or a related field is required.
  • A strong network with brand decision-makers, agencies, and corporates is essential.
  • A proven track record of closing high-value sponsorship deals is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are necessary.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to align sponsorship opportunities with brand objectives is required.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are needed.
