Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Coordinator. This role will provide critical support to our project management team, ensuring seamless execution of projects from planning to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and select potential host client organizations, developing Scope of Works (SOWs) reflecting specific areas of intervention requested by local host client organizations.
  • Support local host client organizations in preparing for the arrival of corporate volunteers, arranging stakeholder meetings as needed.
  • Participate in conference calls with corporate volunteers prior to their arrival in Bengaluru.
  • Provide advice and guidance to corporate volunteers on SOW delivery.
  • Act as the primary interface between us and partner organizations in Bengaluru, maintaining regular correspondence with our staff and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction among corporate volunteers and partner organizations.
  • Attend meetings with corporate volunteers and host client organizations as requested.
  • Prepare financial and final program reports.

Logistical Support

  • Assist in procuring and negotiating accommodations and transportation in Bengaluru for corporate volunteers.
  • Coordinate program launch and closing events for corporate volunteers and host client organizations.
  • Develop Bengaluru-related guides and suggestions for project guides.
  • Orient new corporate volunteers upon arrival in Bengaluru.
  • Manage project travel logistics for corporate volunteers while they are in Bengaluru.
  • Offer logistical and informational support to corporate volunteers, troubleshooting challenges as needed.
  • Maintain security arrangements for corporate volunteers during their stay in Bengaluru.

Requirements

  1. Must be based in Bengaluru with extensive knowledge of the area.
  2. Hold a college degree in project management, organizational development, sustainability, NGO management, impact investing, communications, or a related field.
  3. Possess a minimum of 5-10 years of experience.
  4. Demonstrate exceptional writing and communication skills.
  5. Show ability to conduct gap and SWOT analysis, develop consulting Scopes of Work with minimal supervision.
  6. Exhibit experience working with cross-cultural teams and/or skills-based volunteering programs.
  7. Demonstrate ability to multitask and manage diverse tasks simultaneously.
  8. Show flexibility in working within a team and individually with limited supervision.
  9. possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  10. Be fluent in English, with fluency in Kannada being a plus.
  11. Demonstrate exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  12. Have experience in virtual and in-person presentation skills.
