We are seeking an accomplished technical leader to spearhead our Data Warehouse team.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, mentoring senior engineers, and collaborating directly with clients. This position involves developing a comprehensive roadmap for our data warehouse offerings, solving complex data modeling challenges, ensuring smooth delivery of features, and applying modern data analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with 4+ years leading teams
  • Strong coding expertise: Python, JVM, and Shell scripting with production-grade experience
  • 5+ years in cloud-native, data-intensive applications with mandatory AWS expertise
  • Proven experience in data warehouse design & development using modern DW tools
  • Hands-on with Databricks and dbt (mandatory)
  • Expert in Airflow (workflow orchestration)
  • Strong experience building & maintaining Spark applications
  • Deep understanding of file formats: Parquet, Delta Lake, OTFs
  • Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD)
  • Solid knowledge of unit testing & test automation frameworks

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization
  • Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation)
  • Exposure to observability systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
Requirements

Lead & mentor a team of 4–5 Sr. Engineers

  • Drive client communication, requirement gathering, and roadmap planning
  • Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies
  • Conduct PR reviews & guide best practices
  • Strong documentation & communication skills
  • Proactive, business-value-oriented mindset
