Cloud Security Specialist

We're seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Specialist to spearhead the design, configuration, and security of our AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, with expertise in services such as IAM, GuardDuty, SecurityHub, Config, Control Tower, and KMS.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Infosec team to recommend and implement security best practices, partner with Application and Infrastructure teams to understand their SecOps requirements, and identify security gaps to drive initiatives aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and secure core AWS services, including VPCs, TGWs, VPNs, security groups, and networking access.
  • Collaborate with the Infosec team to implement security best practices.
  • Partner with Application and Infrastructure teams to support the implementation of security solutions.
  • Identify security gaps and drive initiatives to strengthen overall security posture.
Requirements:
  • 6-10 years of experience in cloud security, platform engineering, or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS core and security services.
  • Experience managing and securing Kubernetes/EKS workloads, with focus on RBAC, secrets, and runtime security.
  • Solid understanding of AWS networking and security fundamentals.
