Job Title: Web Development Specialist
We are a fast-growing startup providing virtual assistance and business support services to clients across the globe. Our company is seeking a highly skilled Web Development Specialist to design, develop, and maintain functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing websites on multiple platforms.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will collaborate with clients to understand website design, functionality, and technical specifications. Key Responsibilities include developing and maintaining websites across WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, WooCommerce, and other platforms. Customization of front-end and back-end solutions including themes, plugins, and server integrations are also part of this role.
Skill Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in web development.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace.
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN) and debugging tools (Chrome Inspector, Firebug).
- Hands-on experience with website architecture, e-commerce platforms, and UI/UX design.
- Knowledge of DNS, hosting, databases, and backup management.
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused and problem-solving mindset.
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge of agile project management methodologies - Familiarity with DevOps practices - Experience with cloud-based infrastructure management
