The Role:
  • Work on complex web applications (themes, plugins, internal tools).
  • Develop and maintain advanced web components, leveraging hooks, APIs, and custom logic.
  • Optimize database queries and code execution (profiling, debugging, chasing wasted milliseconds and memory leaks).
  • Integrate with REST APIs and support complex integrations/microservices.
  • Work daily in containerized environments (CLI, container operations, Linux commands).
  • Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and functional web applications.
Required Skills:
  • Deep expertise in web development frameworks and technologies (hooks, APIs, plugins, themes).
  • Strong SQL skills and proven experience optimizing queries for performance.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservice integration patterns.
  • Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Comfortable with containerized workflows and Linux environments (CLI, file manipulation, container ops).
  • A performance-minded developer: profiling, measuring, and optimizing code execution.
  • MacOS or Linux development environment (mandatory).
  • Good command of accessibility best practices and Core Web Vitals.
  • Experience working closely with designers and front-end developers.
